This tournament will use the best handicapping system available, FargoRate: but if you do not have a Fargo Rating, do not worry – our tournament director and house professional will give you a provisional rating to use for the tournament.
This tournament is a double elimination tournament and we will use the established “Hot Race” Charts for both winners and losers brackets. The exact race will depend on TOTAL COMBINED Fargo rating of both players . Two players of high skill will play a longer race than two players of low skill and the Fargo Hot tables will be used (R4, R5 and R6 depending on the skill levels).
Entry fees based on Fargo:
600+ $70
500-599 $60
400-499 $50
< 400 $40
Those with a provisional Fargo Rating or an Assigned Fargo Rating will pay based on that rating.
Entries are capped to ensure this tournament runs well and because of this only those who register with deposit will be guaranteed a space.
Likewise: the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
This tournament has a guaranteed MINIMUM cash prizes as follows:
Winner: $500
Runner-up: $250
Third Place: $150
